Job Description: Field Operator (Oil & Gas)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Operator to join our oil and gas operations team. As a Field Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the field, ensuring the safe and efficient extraction and processing of oil and gas. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, collaborating with other professionals to optimize field production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor oil and gas production equipment, including pumps, compressors, and separators, ensuring optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of field equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and systems on-site.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, record production data, and report any operational issues or irregularities.
• Monitor pressure, flow rates, and other parameters to ensure operations are within safe and efficient limits.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work with engineers and supervisors to ensure efficient production and identify areas for improvement in operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of the field and equipment to prevent equipment failure and address issues proactively.
• Assist in preparing sites for oil and gas exploration, extraction, and processing activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Field Operator in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas production processes, equipment, and systems.
• Experience with operating machinery such as pumps, compressors, separators, and other related equipment.
• Solid troubleshooting and maintenance skills to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
• Ability to work in challenging field conditions, including remote locations and extreme weather.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations, with a strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Technical or engineering degree related to oil and gas operations.
• Certification in well control or other relevant industry standards.
• Previous experience in offshore or remote field operations.
